The Institute of Automation and Control of Graz University of Technology has developed a mathematical model of a thyroid gland in cooperation with the Clinical Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology at the Medical University of Graz. With the help of this model, the behaviour of the thyroid gland can be studied when various drugs are administered.
